The pot granulator is a piece of equipment used for granulating materials such as bauxite, shale, clay, sludge, fly ash, and slag. It features uniform pellet size, high output, compact structure, easy control, and stable operation. It is widely used in industries such as construction, refractory insulation, and petroleum fracturing proppants.

The principle is that materials roll inside the granulator, with fine water droplets continuously sprayed onto the materials. The material particles quickly absorb and wet the droplets, forming a very thin water film on the surface of the particles, which then adsorb more material as they roll. Due to the continuous addition of water and material and the rolling action inside the pan, the water film on the surface of the green pellets keeps absorbing material and water. This cycle repeats, gradually forming the pellets. Additionally, the mechanical action during rolling gradually increases the compaction of the pellets, giving them a certain mechanical strength until they form the required green pellets.
